Lemon 80th Birthday Cupcakes

At a wedding fayre back in February I met an older gentleman who had come to look for a venue for his 80th birthday party. He really loved my cupcakes and decided that's what he wanted for his party...

A few months later I got a call from his wife saying she'd tried to persuade him that 'cupcakes aren't suitable for an 80 year old man' but he was adamant - and he wanted lots of glitter, flowers and butterflies for the decorations! There were 60 cupcakes and a cutting cake, but I didn't set it up so hopefully they'll send me some photos.

Proof that everyone loves cupcakes - no matter what their age :-)

My birthday flowers from my friend since kindergarten

Thank you everyone for the birthday wishes. We has a very busy weekend and little computer time. Now it is back to the work week and work is getting busy again. August is always a slow month. Tomorrow night I will be at a concert that I won tickets to so I won't be on the computer tomorrow night either. So.... I will be catching up with your photostreams all during the week.
